Arctic Basecamp / COP26

Stunt - Online - Print

For Arctic Basecamp, we shipped a real iceberg straight from the Arctic to the COP26 climate conference in Glasgow and produced "Arctic Melt" bottles containing water from real melted icebergs. While the iceberg was melting in front of the COP26 venue, we handed out the bottles, putting fresh, natural, unadulterated climate facts under the noses of world leaders, COP26 delegates, climate deniers, and climate conference reporters.

The iceberg arrived on a ship from Greenland via Iceland and was transported to Scotland, where Graeme Lindsay from Uisge Source treated the water and bottled it in the factory. Ecology offset all transportation. Arctic Melt bottles were also distributed at Davos and Glastonbury
.
On Instagram, Rainn Wilson helped spread the word to his 3.4 million followers, while the stunt generated unprecedented media attention for the small organization.
